Materials we work with

With more than 29 years of experience, our capabilities have been refined and perfected – creating high-quality, stunning and cutting-edge products.

Aajogo have many manufacturing capabilities, working with the following range of materials:

Aluminium

Aluminium is a silvery-white, soft, malleable and lightweight metal. Aluminium fabrication is most commonly used for precision tubing in motor vehicles, refrigerators, air conditioning, solar panels and power lines. If you work in construction, you’ll also use the metal for everything from bridges and ladders to railings and doors.

Pewter

Pewter sheet metal is an alloy which consists mostly of tin – but also consists of metals like copper, lead or antimony – which makes it more durable. This popular material is our favourite metal to work with – and is becoming increasingly more popular and affordable for architectural projects.

Mild steel

Renowned for its versatility, it’s a metal which is cost-effective and easy to manufacture. It’s the ideal metal for steel frame buildings, machinery parts, pipelines and design and architectural products like gates.

Stainless steel

Stainless steel isn’t prone to corrosion, rusting, or staining with exposure to water. Steel sheet metal is perfect for projects which require a durable and strong metal for its applications. It’s qualities mean it’s used in the fabrications for architectural structures – such as bridges, monuments and airport roofs. It’s also regularly used for automotive applications like air cars and aircraft.

Galvanised steel

The zinc coating on galvanised steel, when intact, prevents corrosive substances from reaching the underlying steel or iron. Mostly used for construction products, balconies, building frames, fences, car bodies, safety barriers and street furniture.

Zinc

Zinc sheet metal is used in alloys such as brass, nickel silver and aluminium solder.

Brass

Brass sheet metal is made of copper and zinc and is mostly used for decorative and mechanical applications.

Copper

Copper is easily stretched, moulded, and shaped; is resistant to corrosion; and conducts heat and electricity efficiently. It’s often the material of choice for the construction industry, industrial machinery and as a component in motors.

Titanium

Titanium is as strong as steel, and yet very light. In fact, it is known for its excellent strength-to-weight ratio. It’s high resistance to corrosion means it’s often used on ships.

Bronze

Bronze is a metal which is most commonly used for architectural purposes, such as door and window frames, mailboxes and chutes, trims or rails and furniture hardware.
